Business Listing Requirements

To qualify for a free ABD Premium Business Showcase™, businesses must:

Provide accurate and current business information.
Operate legally within the State of Alabama.
Comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Treat customers with honesty, professionalism, and respect.
Provide reliable products and quality services.
Maintain a positive reputation within the community.

ABD reviews business submissions before publication. We reserve the right to approve, decline, edit, suspend, or remove listings that do not meet our business standards or platform requirements.

Approved businesses are expected to continue meeting ABD’s listing requirements. Failure to comply may result in suspension or removal from the ABD network.

Free Premium Business Showcase™

Premium Business Showcase™ — 100% FREE

ABD provides qualifying Alabama businesses with a professionally created Premium Business Showcase™ at no charge.

There are no setup fees, publication fees, or advertising purchase requirements to receive an approved free Premium Business Showcase™.

A Premium Business Showcase™ may include business information, descriptions, photographs, videos, products and services, business hours, website links, customer reviews, location information, and other relevant business details.

ABD may organize and optimize Showcase content to improve presentation, accessibility, and search visibility. Inclusion in ABD does not guarantee specific search rankings, website traffic, customer inquiries, or sales.

Advertising is entirely optional. Businesses are not required to purchase advertising to maintain an approved free Showcase.

Optional ABD Showcase Advertising

ABD Showcase Advertising — $149.99 One-Time Payment

Businesses may purchase one full year of optional advertising and promotional services for their Premium Business Showcase™.

Advertising may include enhanced visibility across ABD promotional channels, featured placement, search optimization, social media promotion, and additional marketing opportunities.

The advertising service begins when ABD activates the purchased advertising campaign and continues for 12 months unless otherwise stated in the applicable purchase agreement.

ABD Showcase Advertising is not an automatically renewing subscription. Renewal requires a new purchase or separate authorization from the business.

ABD may promote participating businesses through its network and third-party discovery platforms, including Google, Bing, and social media. Such promotion does not guarantee paid placement or particular results on those platforms.

Advertising does not guarantee a specific number of impressions, visitors, leads, customers, sales, or search-engine rankings.

Advertising Satisfaction & Refund Policy

At ABD – Alabama Business Directory, we believe businesses deserve a fair opportunity to evaluate the advertising services they purchase.

Our 45-Day Advertising Satisfaction Guarantee

After 45 days of active advertising, if you feel our advertising services have not met your expectations, you may request a full refund of your advertising payment.

Eligible refund requests must be submitted between the 45th and 60th calendar day following the activation of your paid advertising service.

Refund Eligibility: This satisfaction guarantee applies to optional paid advertising purchased directly through ABD. The evaluation period begins on the date the advertising service becomes active, not necessarily the date payment was submitted.

How to Request a Refund: Contact ABD Customer Support with your business name, advertising purchase information, and a brief explanation of your experience.

We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns; however, customers are not required to accept additional advertising services in place of an eligible refund.

Free Premium Business Showcases™: Because Premium Business Showcases™ are provided at no charge, no Showcase purchase payment exists to refund. Free Showcases are separate from optional paid advertising services.

Refund Processing: Eligible refunds will be issued for the full advertising payment to the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

Advertising After a Refund: Once an advertising refund has been issued, the associated paid advertising services may be discontinued. The business may retain its approved free Premium Business Showcase™ provided it continues meeting ABD listing standards.

Cancellation & Renewals

Free Premium Business Showcases™ do not require payment and do not automatically convert into paid advertising services.

Optional ABD Showcase Advertising is purchased as a one-time, 12-month advertising service and does not automatically renew.

Businesses may choose not to renew advertising after the service period ends.

Businesses may also request removal of their free Showcase by contacting ABD Customer Support.

Refunds for optional advertising are governed by the Advertising Satisfaction & Refund Policy outlined above.

Business Information & Content

Businesses are responsible for providing accurate information and notifying ABD when important business details change.

By submitting business information, photographs, logos, videos, and other materials, the business confirms that it has the right to provide those materials for publication.

The business grants ABD permission to use, display, format, and promote submitted materials in connection with its Showcase and any authorized advertising services.

ABD may edit, organize, format, or enhance business information for presentation. Some content may be prepared or enhanced using AI-assisted tools.

Businesses may contact ABD to request corrections to inaccurate information.

Third-Party Platforms & Services

ABD may use or link to third-party platforms, including search engines, social media, maps, business websites, video platforms, and payment processors.

ABD does not control these third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, policies, search rankings, distribution, or performance.

Businesses and shoppers should review the applicable policies of third-party services when using those platforms.

Advertising Performance & Results

ABD works to provide professional business discovery and promotional opportunities. However, advertising results may vary depending on industry, location, competition, customer demand, and other factors.

Neither free Premium Business Showcases™ nor optional advertising purchases guarantee specific revenue, customer inquiries, website traffic, sales, or search rankings.

The Advertising Satisfaction Guarantee remains available to eligible advertising customers under the refund terms stated above.

Policy Updates

ABD reserves the right to update these Terms of Service and Business Listing Requirements when necessary.

Updated terms will be published on the ABD website with a revised effective date.

Changes to advertising refund terms will not retroactively reduce refund rights already established under the terms applicable to an existing purchase, unless required by law or agreed to by the customer.
